Elk hooks up with soccer net at Maple Valley

MAPLE VALLEY -- The Washington Fish and Wildlife Department says a young elk needed an assist after its horns became tangled in a soccer net at Rock Creek Elementary School in Maple Valley.
Officer Bruce Richards cut the net last Friday and freed the elk. A King County sheriff's deputy who also responded recorded video.
