Learn to knit your own Christmas stockings

The holiday countdown has begun, but there's still time to stitch up a memory.
"Knit Christmas Stockings" offers instructions for creating 19 stockings and knitted ornaments.
It's the second edition of the book, updated with popular color palettes and projects for knitters of all skill levels.
The stocking styles range from rustic to romantic and from simple to intricate.
There are tweed socks, argyle and cable-knit stockings, a floral Victorian design, playful patterns and even stockings for the family pets.
"Knit Christmas Stockings" is edited by Gwen W. Steege and published by Storey Publishing.
It sells for $12.95 in paperback.
