The Seahawks story in today’s Herald (and everywhere else), is that the Seahawks are looking at another suspension in their secondary with Brandon Browner facing a 1-year ban. In addition to discussing the suspensions in that story, we also take a look at options to bolster the now-depleted secondary, one of which is former 49er Perrish Cox, who worked out for the Seahawks earlier this month. And it sounds like the Cox signing is close to happening, with ESPN reporting Cox will be a Seahawk if he passes a physical.

ESPN’s Terry Blount says all this suspension news is ruining what should be an exciting week for the Seahawks.
Danny O’Neil of 710 ESPN Seattle says the Seahawks must make a statement following these two suspensions.
In his Tuesday mailbag, Peter King of TheMMQB.com looks at how the league could punish the Seahawks after so many suspensions, noting that fines and perhaps even the loss of draft picks are possible.
CBSSports.com puts Seattle on top of its power rankings while noting it could be a tenuous stay up top with a game coming against New Orleans and that “the mess in the secondary isn’t helping.”
