How Green Was My Valley: The state has released its list of applicants seeking to grow, process or sell marijuana. Among those in Snohomish County are Woody’s Weed Warehouse and Wacky Tobacky.
As a public service we offer a few more names for those still planning to apply: Green Acres, Bud’s Bowl of Buds, The Doobie Bros., The Joint Joint and Weed Whackers.

A bowl by any other name: It’s not clear if University of Washington quarterback Keith Price will be healthy for Friday’s Apple Cup game against Washington State University. Both teams are eligible for post-season play, but a win for either won’t guarantee a bowl game.
If neither team is awarded a bowl game, the coaches will meet for a Madden 25 Xbox grudge match in the Woody’s Weed Warehouse Bowl.

Dawg tags: The state has approved the design for a new UW specialty license plate in purple and gold colors, similar to the WSU plates already available.
There are some restrictions. As with the Cougar plates, which can only be used on tractors and pickups made before 1973, the Husky plates are available only to those who can show proof of residence on Mercer Island.
