Kudos to President Obama for raising over $1 million for his Democratic Party with “boots on the ground” for 17 hours. Not many could pull off such a phenomenal feat.
He flew in from, and back to, the other Washington on a taxpayer paid-for 747, tied up a freeway and side roads for hours, kept a 747’s engines and crew in a ready-to-depart mode for approximately four to five hours, and engaged around 300 public service motorcycles along with a number of vehicles and personnel to transport his entourage around the Seattle area.
If someone with the number-crunching ability could figure out what this escapade cost the taxpayers in total, I am sure taxpayers could have paid the $1 million to the party, and had the president at the post for which he was hired, and wound up with a few dollars left over.
