Snohomish Cub Scouts Pack 36 Webelos would like to share the following messages with Herald readers. They were asked how they plan to make the world a better place by being Scouts. Here’s what they had to say:
“I hope to make the world better by visiting people who are sick at hospitals.” — Alex, 10
“I will plant more trees and visit elderly people.” — Nick, 10
“Be polite and help the elderly. Share your possessions. Don’t litter.” — Jackson, 10
“Help other people. Visit your sick or injured relatives in the hospital. Make things for people. Buy groceries for people.” — Lucas, 10
“I will help by giving wood to people to keep them warm during the winter. I will also go on mission trips.” — Ethan, 11
“I will go to Children’s Hospital and visit kids to give them confidence.” — Kyle, 10
“I will pick up garbage and just be nice. We can help older people do their yard work and keep the environment clean and healthy.” — Noah, 10
“I will try and be kind to others and plant trees. I will also pick up garbage.” — Aiden, 10
“I will help the homeless and give them food, money, warmth, and shelter. I will visit the elderly.” — Adam, 11
“I will change the world by helping older people, talking and spending time with people who are sick, and keeping company with those who feel alone.” — James, 10
“I wish to change the world by giving the homeless food. I will help elderly people not be socially isolated.” — Declan, age 10
“We can help the elderly and pick up trash. We can also give food to those who need it.” — M.J., 10
