Colorado aerospace, tech firms get export help
Starting Sunday, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade will pay for consulting services in countries that already have strong trade ties with Colorado. The Denver Post reports it will also reimburse businesses for expenses up to $15,000 for things like attending trade shows or consulting services in countries that aren't covered.
The World Trade Center Denver will help the state provide industry-specific training programs to help them do business in foreign countries.
The help is available to businesses with fewer than 200 employees in seven industries that rank in the top 10 for exports. The other industries are advanced manufacturing, bioscience, electronics, energy and natural resources and infrastructure engineering.
