OAK HARBOR — An Oak Harbor man was injured Saturday morning in a one-car crash on Whidbey Island.
The accident was reported around 8:30 a.m. in the 4400 block of Monkey Hill Road, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The driver, 18, was headed south when he went off the roadway to the west before over correcting. His car then left the road to the east, rolled over and struck a power pole.
He was taken to Whidbey General Hospital with serious injuries.
