EVERETT — A water main break at 6 a.m. Wednesday in Everett caused flooding and other problems, city officials said.
A six-inch pipe broke in the 2800 block of Rockefeller Avenue, said Marla Carta, the public works spokeswoman.
Several basements were flooded, she said. A dozen buildings on the east side of the street lost water service as well.
The pipe was repaired and water service was restored by early afternoon.
