"The Elves and the Shoemaker" is the well-known fairy tale about the good-hearted but poor shoemaker who has only enough leather left to make one pair of shoes.
He cuts them out at night and, to his amazement, there's a perfect pair of shoes finished on his bench in the morning.
He sells them for a good price and buys more leather and the magic goes on.
The play is recommended for kids from kindergarten through fifth grade.
A holiday party will be held after the performance.
Tickets are $15 and available at villagetheatre.org/everett/Pied-Piper-Public.php.
The Everett Performing Arts Center is at 2710 Wetmore. Call 425-257-8600 for more information.
