ARLINGTON — A horse found wandering near Smokey Point in November was reunited with her owners Friday afternoon.
Earlier this week, Snohomish County animal control officers asked for help identifying the mare. She was found in a ravine Nov. 23.
The horse’s owners saw the story and photo in The Herald and contacted officials, said Vicki Lubrin, the county’s licensing and animal control services manager.
The horse is named Brandy, Lubrin said.
Brandy broke through a fence on the family’s property about Nov. 19, Lubrin said. The family’s other two horses were in good condition. Brandy is being treated by the family’s veterinarian.
The animal control investigation continues.
