OLYMPIA — Aspiring marijuana entrepreneurs in Washington state have an extra day to get their business license applications in.
The state began accepting applications Nov. 18 from people seeking a license to grow, process or sell pot under the legal marijuana law approved by voters last year. The applications were previously due Dec. 19, but the Liquor Control Board announced that because of a legal technicality it will accept them until 5 p.m. Dec. 20.
As of Tuesday, the board had received 1,326 applications.
