LYNNWOOD -- Snohomish County sheriff's deputies are asking for help finding two men suspected of beating and robbing a cab driver in Lynnwood last week.
The victim was robbed of cash and a credit card around midnight on Dec. 3 near the 16600 block of Sixth Avenue W. in Lynnwood, Snohomish County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
The men then forced the cab driver, 51, to walk with them to a convenience store in the 200 block of 164th Street SW. They left him after trying to force him to withdraw cash from an ATM, Ireton said.
Detectives believe that one of the suspects is Eric T. Johnson, 27, who is known to frequent south Everett, Lynnwood and north Seattle, including bus stops and homeless shelters.
Detectives also are trying to identify the other suspect, a white man who's believed to be about 6 feet tall and weigh around 200 pounds. He was wearing glasses when the crime occurred.
Anyone with information about either suspect is asked to call the sheriff's office anonymous tip line at 425-388-3845.
