LAKE STEVENS — A fire caused an estimated $90,000 to the Lake Conner Grocery Store on Tuesday night.
The fire was reported in the back of the store around 8:25 p.m., according to the Lake Stevens Fire Department.
Fire crews arrived within three minutes of the call and began fighting the blaze, which was kept to the rear of the building, Fire Marshal Robert Marshall said.
The store is in the 2700 block Hartford Drive. The storage area contained two compressors for refrigeration, Marshall said.
The cause remained under investigation Wednesday. It was not considered suspicious.
