Christmas with a country twist.
That's how the Red Curtain Productions bills its "Ho-Ho-Hometown Hootenanny," set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Historic Everett Theatre.
Audience members can count on traditional carols, contemporary country Christmas favorites, a fundraising auction and a visit from Santa Claus.
Singer Jesse Taylor of Arlington plans an acoustic set of holiday favorites, as well as a few of his own compositions.
Patty & The Travelin' 4 band, well-known throughout the region for more than 30 years for their dance shows, is scheduled to bring country western swing music to the stage. Think delightful steel-guitar twang.
The Hometown Band plans to finish out the concert with classic and contemporary holiday songs, including "Meet Me Under the Mistletoe," "Santa Claus Boogie" and "Let It Be Christmas."
Guest singer Katie Hoag plans to perform "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and a country-folk version of "Go Tell It On the Mountain."
Santa is expected to make a special appearance at the show and in the lobby for photos. Before and at intermission, audience members can bid on holiday desserts made by Red Curtain volunteers.
Tickets are $17 for adults, $14 for seniors, students and members of the military. Children ages 12 and younger get in for $5. Tickets are available online at or by calling the Historic Everett Theatre at 425-258-6766. The box office opens at 6:30 the evening of the show.
The theater is at 2911 Colby Ave., Everett.
