What seemed likely all week became official Friday: Percy Harvin will miss a third straight game since his brief return to action last month. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said following Friday’s practice that Harvin was out, and added, “it’s looking like it’s going to be a bit before we get it right. He’s doing a ton of stuff to get back, but it hasn’t turned the corner. So we’re just going to keep taking the time it takes to get him right.”
Seeing as the Seahawks have only two regular season games remaining, if Harvin is indeed going to “be a bit” before he’s game ready, it seems more likely than ever that he might not play again until the postseason.
Also out this week are cornerback Brandon Browner (groin) and linebacker KJ Wright, who had foot surgery earlier in the week.
“As far as I know it was routine,” Carroll said, “It was a routine surgery, so it should be fine. Whatever that means, I don’t know.”
TE Zach Miller, who missed the previous two days with a rib injury, practiced fully and is probable, as is everyone else on the long list of players who sat out Wednesday’s practice.
Carroll also confirmed that DE Greg Scruggs and CB Tharold Simon went to the PUP/IR list, meaning their seasons are over. Carroll said Simon, who had been out with a foot injury, suffered a toe injury after returning to practice.
