Artist Christine Schmidt believes it doesn't have to take a lot of skill to personalize an item and turn it into something special. She shows how in "Yellow Owl's Little Prints: Stamp, Stencil, and Print Projects to Make for Kids."
Schmidt, who runs the online store Yellow Owl Workshop filled the book with instructions for making hand-printed items that are practical yet meaningful enough to be kept as treasures. The projects include party decorations, wall art, rugs, toys, tote bags, baby clothes and more. "Yellow Owl's Little Prints" sells for $21.99 in paperback.
