Receiver Percy Harvin is out again Sunday, the fourth straight game he’ll miss since returning from hip surgery last month. Also out is guard JR Sweezy, who suffered a concussion in last weekend’s game, but didn’t have symptoms show up until later.
“He’s going through the protocol and did not make it, so we’ll keep him,” Carroll said of Sweezy. “It happened in the game, but we didn’t realize it was an issue until afterwards.”
As for who will start in Sweezy’s place, Carroll offered only, “Wait and see please, and that “All the usual suspects” were options.
The usual suspects would include rookies Alvin Bailey and Michael Bowie, as well as Paul McQuistan, who has been splitting time at left guard with James Carpenter.
Jeremy Lane, who showed up on the injury report Thursday after sitting out with an ankle injury, is probable.
“He made it through practice today, he’s fine,” Carroll said.
Carroll gave the same answer for Robert Turbin, who was added to the injury report Thursday with a groin injury.
Richard Sherman was added to the injury report with a hip injury, but Carroll said Sherman is fine and was just getting a rest day.
