MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — A man was detained by Mountlake Terrace police on Sunday after a brief standoff.
A domestic-violence incident was reported to 911 about 12:45 p.m. at a home along 52nd Place W., a cul-de-sac off 216th Street SW.
Officers were told that a man at the home was waving a shotgun and had fired at least one shot, Mountlake Terrace police Cmdr. Doug Hansen said.
Within an hour, the man surrendered to police, Hansen said. No injuries were reported.
The investigation was ongoing Sunday. No other information was immediately available.
