The Seahawks returned to practice Thursday after getting Christmas off, and as Pete Carroll had hoped, most of his team’s banged-up-but-not-seriously-injured players returned to action. Carroll had hoped, however, that receiver Jermaine Kearse might be able to practice Thursday after injuring his ankle last weekend, but he was unable to go. Red Bryant, who sat out with a knee injury, is the one player held out who Carroll had not addressed earlier in the week, so we’ll have to wait until Friday, to see what’s going on there, however, I would caution that this time of year, especially when it comes to veterans, a player sitting out before Friday isn’t necessarily cause for concern.
