SNOHOMISH -- Woodinville's Erin Hamilton had 12 points and Mackenzie Campbell added 11 as the Falcons jumped out to an early lead and defeated Snohomish 52-31 Thursday afternoon at the Panthers' Snohomish Holiday Basketball Tournament.
A 15-2 second-quarter advantage gave Woodinville, 5-2 overall out of the Kingco league, a 35-10 lead at halftime. The Falcons' aggressive defense -- as well as Snohomish's foul trouble -- aided Woodinville in maintaining its lead.
Madeline Smith had a team-high nine points for Snohomish (2-4 overall). Callie and Shaylee Harwood scored six points apiece for the Panthers.
