BELLEVUE — Bear Creek outscored Meadowdale 22-11 in the third quarter to pull away from the Mavericks in a 70-46 win in the opening round of the 43rd annual Bellevue College Holiday tournament on Friday.
The Grizzlies advanced to today’s semifinal to face the winner of Oak Harbor and Inglemoor. The Mavericks move on to the consolation bracket to face the loser of the Wildcats and Vikings.
Aidan O’Neill scored 13 points and Jacob Perkins added 10 for the Mavericks. Bear Creek’s Luke Blankenbeckler led all scorers with 16.
