TIGARD, Ore. — Cedar Park Christian-Mountlake Terrace held Portland Waldorf scoreless in the second quarter as the Tigers pulled away for a victory at the Riverdale Holiday Tournament. Cedar Park plays for fourth place at noon today against Catlin Gabel.
The defensive pressure of guards Maddie Hill and Sarah Dresler helped Cedar Park outscore Portland Waldorf 16-0 in the second period and build a 24-6 halftime lead. Hill and Dresler combined for 11 steals in the game.
Freshman center Salome Yosef led the Tigers with 12 points, 15 rebounds and seven blocked shots.
