MOSES LAKE — Police in the central Washington community of Moses Lake say a city police officer fatally shot a man Monday evening after officers responded to a disturbance call.
KREM-TV in Spokane reported that the wounded man was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Neither the dead man nor the officer was immediately identified.
The shooting happened about 5:30 p.m.
Moses Lake police said no additional information would be released until Tuesday.
The multi-agency Columbia Basin Investigative Team will investigate the shooting.
