SEATTLE — A 5-year-old boy who was critically injured when the car in which he was riding hit a tree in dense fog in Auburn has died in a Seattle hospital.
KING-TV reported that the boy died Monday at Harborview Medical Center.
Investigators say the 21-year-old man at the wheel early Sunday was driving 90 mph when the car ran off the road. The driver remains in Harborview in intensive care. Authorities say a 9-year-old girl was not seriously hurt.
Police are continuing their investigation.
