EVERETT -- Theft and fraud charges have been filed against a couple who owns auto glass businesses in Everett and Seattle.
Andrew and Vita Onufreychuk are accused of falsifying their business tax returns to cheat the state out of at least $13,000 in sales tax, according to the state Department of Revenue. Investigators suspect that the underreported amount could be higher, based on investigative documents.
The couple own Andrews Auto Glass Inc. The Onufreychuks are scheduled to be arraigned in Snohomish County Superior Court later this month.
