Congress

Let's get back on track this year

It is very interesting this time of the year as we are reminded of the "epic events" that took place in the past 12 months. One event that we did not see played out in 2013 was a Congress that served the people; sadly, they seemed to forget that is why they are elected.
While everyone seems to have a favorite to hate, there is enough blame to go around for each party, Republicans and Democrats alike, and using a grading system of A-F the ones that are passing would be doing so with a D-.
So how about if 2014 is the year of the truth? No more lying, cheating and finger pointing would be a good first step for all members of Congress to adhere to. Work on fixing the staggering economy and make your goal for the year getting this great country we live in back in the leadership role every other country looks up to.
The greatest epic event of the upcoming year would be living in a country again that everyone in the world "laughed with" instead of "laughed at."
