The Mossyback Morris Men are back at the Everett Public Library Sunday to put a shot of color and music in the dark days of winter.
Looking like a group of chimney sweeps, the troupe performs a ritual British Dance called The Morris, which celebrates the Earth and all its seasons.
The Morris is a centuries-old mix of street theater and dance and the Mossybacks have been dancing it around the Puget Sound region since 1980.
After the performance the dancers will talk about this spritely reel with audience members.
The library is at 2702 Hoyt Ave., Everett. For further information, please call 425-257-8000.
