The Nordic Heritage Museum has for years conducted an oral history project in an effort to collect and share the life histories of Scandinavian immigrants and their descendants in the Northwest.
Gordon Strand and Mari-Ann Jackson from the museum plan to talk about the project at 2 p.m. Wednesdayat Harbour Pointe Retirement Center, 10200 Harbour Place, Mukilteo.
The program is scheduled to include life stories of individuals throughout King, Snohomish and Skagit counties, as well as Scandinavian settlements in coastal and Eastern Washington.
Visitors will have an opportunity to buy an award-winning book of oral histories, “Voices of Ballard and Beyond.”
The documentary “Under the Clouds of War: Growing Up in Occupied Denmark and Norway” is to be shown.
