Associated Press
WALLA WALLA -- Investigators say the man who died in a house fire Saturday at College Place set the fire himself.
Fire Marshal John Boose told the Union-Bulletin that the fire was intentionally set in multiple locations.
Firefighters found the body of the 39-year-old man, Andrey Gorkovchenko, in a bedroom. The autopsy showed he died of smoke inhalation.
No one else was in the home at the time. A cat also died in the fire.
