End pensions for public workers

Now that the Boeing Machinists have swallowed the bitter pill and accepted the 401k retirement package from the company for the economic good of Washington state, isn’t it time for the government traditional pension plan to change to a 401k plan? The Democratic leaders pushed the Boeing workers to accept the new contract by claiming if it was not ratified, economic doom was soon to follow. It’s now time for the state pension to follow suit and end this outdated form of pension. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. It’s time for the Democrats to have a taste of their own medicine.
