Pair of Silvertips on NHL scouting service radar

EVERETT — The NHL Central Scouting Service released its midterm rankings for the 2014 NHL draft, and two members of the Everett Silvertips were on the list.
Goaltender Austin Lotz was eligible for last year’s NHL draft, but went unselected. However, he remains on Central Scouting’s radar, being ranked 11th among North American goaltenders. Lotz was ranked 10th among North American goaltenders on Central Scouting’s final rankings last year. Lotz is currently 17-11-3-1 with a 2.38 goals against average and .911 save percentage.
Center Ivan Nikolishin was ranked 201st among North American skaters. The 17-year-old rookie from Russia is currently second on the team in scoring with 35 points (11 goals, 24 assists) in 44 games.
The 2014 NHL draft is June 27-28 in Philadelphia.
