The best prep performances for the week Jan. 6-11

Jace Chacon
Everett | Boys basketball
The Seagulls wing scored 25 points, seven rebounds and five assists and the game-winning basket with 3.5 seconds remaining against Shorewood and had 24 points and seven rebounds in a win against Marysville Pilchuck.

Wurrie Njadoe
Shorecrest | Girls basketball
The Scots guard scored 18 points and had three steals in a 65-39 win over Stanwood and also had nine points in a win over Meadowdale. Shorecrest coach Dori Monson said that she has also been the team's best defender on the floor.

Snohomish | Wrestling
The 220-pounder won his weight division at the Panther Classic to lead the Panthers to a team victory in their own tournament.

Lake stevens | Boys swim
The Vikings diver scored 220.95 points to win the prestigious Kentridge Invitational on Saturday.
