The Seahawks play the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship, with the winner heading to the Super Bowl.
At CenturyLink, Field Supervisor Sam Town was watching over his workers as they carefully used a template to paint an “NFL championship” logo on the field. Everything on the field, from yard-line numbers to hash marks to the giant “12”s representing the “12th Man” fans, will be repainted from last week’s victory over the New Orleans Saints.
As a hedge against Seattle’s rainy weather, wheeled tents will be put in place over field logos until they dry, and rented heaters will help dry the larger end zone areas.
