I, like many others, was extremely saddened by the Sunday story about the monkey lab in Everett. I know that is probably a controversial topic, to say the least. Many people will say that if it saves even one human life, it is worth the sacrificing of animals. Others like myself, will object strongly to the use of any animal for the purpose of drug testing.
I am curious as to why I have not seen one single item in the opinion section of the Herald. Instead, I continue to see letter after letter about Boeing. I understand the contract was accepted, and the plant is now back to business as usual.
Is there any particular reason why so many topics from your newspaper do not result in any feedback?
