You may have read something I wrote a while back about how Seahawks and 49ers fans were raising money for children's hospitals in both cities. Well a cool update on that story, both teams are matching donations, the 49ers up to $100,000, and the Seahawks up to $112,000.
(1/2) The #49ers will match up to $100k raised by @49ers & @seahawks fans in support of children's hospitals in the two cities...

We are all in for kids: @Seahawks match $112k raised by @49ers & #GoHawks fans for children's hospitals. Donate http://t.co/eEydkp7mW0And finally, from the parody site SportsPickle.com, a funny story on how Russell Wilson has accidentally inspired the 49ers with his positive, inspirational tweets. The story is obviously not real, not because of the content, but because the quote from Colin Kaepernick is much longer than anything the 49ers quarterback would really say to the media. And to warn you, there's a bit of adult language in the story, so don't click on it if that's going to bother you.
