There, I fixed it

A little duct tape and good as new: It's been a year since fires were first reported with Boeing's 787 batteries. The batteries were redesigned, but recently another 787 battery malfunctioned and vented gas. Boeing said the redesigned battery contained the problem as intended.

Dreamliner passengers anxious about the batteries may find some comfort knowing their air-sickness bags work as designed to contain the problem, too.

What's cooking? Pizza Hut is playing up the imperfections in its hand-tossed pizzas in the belief that customers want more authenticity.

The practice also has spread to Boeing, which is promoting the 787's sometimes smoldering batteries as "hand-crafted power cells just like Dad use to make in the basement."

--

Do you offer crowd-surfing insurance? To increase the number of young adults signing up for health insurance, the state's insurance exchange is planning a campaign at music festivals to encourage them to register.

It might work. There's no better time to ask drunken hipsters suffering from heat exhaustion about health coverage than when you're holding back their hair while they're doubled over and throwing up.
