Prep girls basketball: Mount Vernon Christian 62, Cedar Park Christian-MLT 27

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — A 25-6 first quarter helped Mount Vernon Christian cruise to a 62-27 win over Cedar Park Christian-Mountlake Terrace in a nonleague matchup. Jacqueline Case scored a game high 20 points, hitting four 3-pointers to lead the way for Mount Vernon Christian.
