Missing Everett boy, 11, found unharmed

EVERETT — An 11-year-old boy with autism who went missing in north Everett on Monday afternoon was found unharmed a few hours later.

The search began about 4:30 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of Lombard Avenue, Everett police spokesman Aaron Snell said.

About an hour later, Everett police requested assistance from Snohomish County Search and Rescue crews.

The boy was found safe shortly afterward, Snell said. Someone had found him and taken him to Cocoon House.
