The suspects — 17 to 19 years old — are accused of robbing apparent strangers in the 5700 block of Evergreen Way, near the intersection of McDougall Avenue and Wall Street, and in the 4100 block of Rucker Avenue.
Police believe one of the teens was armed with a knife during the holdups.
“It doesn’t appear they were people they knew,” Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
A patrol officer was in the area of the Rucker Avenue robbery and cornered the suspects on a dead-end street in a nearby neighborhood.
The suspects were arrested around 3:45 a.m. Sunday. The older suspects were booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of two counts of first-degree robbery and attempted robbery. A 17-year-old boy was taken to the Denney Juvenile Justice Center in north Everett.
They were driving a green 1997 Mustang when they were stopped, Snell said.
The car was impounded. Detectives on Monday were seeking a warrant to search the vehicle, Snell said.
Police believe some of the stolen items were still in the car when they made the arrest.
The trio of robberies occurred within a few hours of one another.
All four suspects are from the Everett area.
