Earlier today in this space we mentioned that a young, hearing-impaired fan had written a letter to Seahawks FB Derrick Coleman, who himself is legally deaf and wears hearing aids. Well today Coleman responded, not just by quickly responding on Twitter—the girl’s father had Tweeted a picture of the letter to Coleman—but rather by hand-writing a note himself, then sending it out with a picture on Twitter.
Here’s the original note:
