WHAT: Podocarpus alpines ‘County Park Fire,’ also known as alpine plum yew, is a low spreading evergreen providing the garden with color throughout the year.
Needles are a cream/salmon coloration in the spring, evolving into a spectacular bronze foliage in the fall.
Its red berries are a beautiful winter feature that is not to be missed.
SUN OR SHADE: This evergreen prefers full sun to part shade.
SIZE: Its diminutive size, 3 foot by 3 foot, makes it a perfect specimen for containers or small urban spaces.
