Level 3 sex offender moves to Lake Stevens

LAKE STEVENS — Police in Lake Stevens are warning neighbors about a convicted sex offender who recently moved to the 8900 block of 11th Street NE.
Travis Hammons, 25, is a Level 3 offender, the level deemed most likely to re-offend.
Hammons has convictions for unlawful imprisonment with sexual motivation, fourth-degree assault and second-degree attempted rape, according to the Lake Stevens Police Department. The victim in the rape case was an adult woman.
Police plan a community meeting about Hammons at 7 p.m. Feb. 3 at the Lake Stevens School District administration building, 12309 22nd Street NE.
He is described as white with brown hair and blue eyes. He is about 5-foot-11 and 159 pounds.
