Wanted felon arrested in Everett after brief pursuit

EVERETT — The Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force arrested a wanted felon in Everett after a brief pursuit Friday afternoon.
Deputies with the task force tracked the man down around 3 p.m. in the 1800 block of Baker Avenue, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
He drove off and police pursued him to the corner of Wetmore and Everett avenues, where the suspect rammed a patrol car, Ireton said.
The man was expected to be booked into the Snohomish County Jail after a medical evaluation, Ireton said.
No injuries were reported.
