LYNNWOOD — A man suffered minor facial burns after a fire broke out Monday afternoon at a Lynnwood auto shop.
The fire was reported about 1:10 p.m. at Cascade Wheel, a wheel repair and refinishing shop at 18908 Highway 99, said Gregg Sieloff, assistant chief of operations at the Lynnwood Fire Department.
Crews at the shop were doing some work in an old spray-paint ventilation booth, Sieloff said.
The 10-foot-by-8-foot booth caught fire, Sieloff said.
The man who was burned, believed to be in his 30s, was treated at the scene. The investigation was ongoing.
Damage was limited to the painting booth.
