One of the biggest shows of the week is 100 percent free.
The Sasquatch Music Festival will hold a launch party at 7 p.m. Monday at the Neptune Theatre, with tickets going up for grabs at the Neptune box office at 1 p.m. Saturday, first come, first served.
The concert will not only unveil the lineup for the annual summer festival — held this year over both Memorial Day weekend and Fourth of July weekend at the Gorge Amphitheatre — but also will feature live performances by some big names in indie rock.
The Cold War Kids will headline the show. The group is touring behind its latest album, “Dear Miss Lonelyhearts,” which features the piano-driven pop rock single “Miracle Mile.”
Other bands appearing at the launch party include St. Lucia, Sir Sly and members of the Cave Singers.

Granted, that’s not the only big show this week.
Mary Lambert will headline the Showbox at 8 p.m. Saturday, as the Mariner High School graduate continues to build upon the success of “Same Love,” which she sang alongside Macklemore and Lewis at this year’s Grammys.
That track, a gay rights anthem, reached No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and helped catapult Lambert to fame. She sings the hook on the hit single.
The attention that the song brought helped turn Lambert, a budding singer-songwriter now living in Seattle, into a star. She has since released her own single, “She Keeps Me Warm,” featured on her EP “Welcome to the Age of My Body.” Her major label debut album is set for release this spring on Capitol Records.

Meanwhile, the Piano Guys are coming to the Paramount Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The Piano Guys aren’t only about playing piano. The musical duo mash up classical music with pop hits, typically using piano and cello to drive their music.
Their self-produced videos helped make them an Internet sensation, with their clips routinely drawing millions of viewers to their YouTube channel.
They’ve since released two studio albums — drawing on music by Mozart and Adele, One Direction and Vivaldi — and a Christmas record. Fans have sprung up around the world.

The Devil Makes Three also is known for its unusual arrangements. The alt-country trio uses just two guitars and an upright bass. The band will play the Showbox SoDo at 9 p.m. Saturday.
The group of New Englanders formed their band in 2002 when they all were in Santa Cruz, Calif., and slowly built a following, winning fans over with their high-octane take on bluegrass and country.
The group’s latest album, “I’m a Stranger Here,” was recorded in Nashville, Tenn., and hit No. 124 on the Billboard 200.

Finally, Starbucks will host another of its fundraising “Little Big Shows” at the Neptune Theatre at 9 Friday night.
The latest installment in the series, which will raise money for the Reel Grrls art program, will feature Sub Pop Records own Washed Out, the indie rock producer known for making his chillwave sound a little bit warmer.
