We have been living in the Monroe School District 103 since 1976. Both of our children spent 12 years in the district, and after high school continued their educations and graduated from the University of Washington.
Even though it has been close to 20 years since our youngest child graduated from Monroe High School, we have continued to support our local school district.
It was important to us when we moved to the Monroe School district in 1976 with two young children, and it is important now for us as senior citizens. The strength of a community starts with its schools and that will never change.
We hope that our fellow citizens will support the upcoming levy and join us with a yes vote.
