Rock out: You could always head to Seattle for the annual Bumbershoot extravaganza (this year’s familiar names include Daryl Hall and John Oates, Mavis Staples, The Presidents of the United States of America and Big Boi). The all-ages festival, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Country Village, features a lineup of six local blues and classic rock bands, plus food and a beer garden. Party on Whidbey: The Penn Cove Gallery in Coupeville is holding a daylong “We Survived the Heist” celebration Saturday, thanking the community for helping it through a rough time after a burglary. The gallery at 9 NW Front St. plans to be open until 7 Saturday night. Read more about it here.
