Everett schools

Pay back, invest forward

Over 50 years ago, people I never knew and who never met me invested in my future by supporting school levies and bond issues. All I knew was my parents made sure I went to good schools and I had every opportunity to receive a good education.
This Feb. 11, it is once again my privilege to pay back those people who invested in me and pay forward for the futures of those children who will never know me and who I will never meet.
Tomorrow’s world will be more competitive and technology driven than my school days. The future success of our children, community and country begins with education today.
Please join me in voting Yes for a strong education foundation to build a better future for all of us.
