BOTHELL — A Lynnwood man was taken to a Seattle hospital early Saturday after the disabled car he was sitting in along I-405 was struck by suspected drunken driver.
The man, 22, was listed in stable condition Saturday afternoon at Harborview Medical Center.
The Washington State Patrol said he was injured when a Snohomish woman, 39, crossed the fog line and hit his Geo Metro, which was parked on the right shoulder.
The woman’s Volkswagen Jetta rolled onto its side. She was treated for minor injuries at Providence Hospital.
Troopers believe the woman was intoxicated, and they are investigating her for suspected vehicular assault.
